New Bengals Assistant Coach Jordan Salkin Brings Unique Perspective on Potential Draft Targets

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bengals are hiring Jordan Salkin to be an offensive assistant on Zac Taylor's staff. The 31-year-old is taking over for Fredi Knighten, who was promoted to assistant quarterbacks coach.
Salkin was an offensive assistant at Oregon last season. He'll bring first-hand perspective on potential Bengals targets in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Ducks have multiple prospects that Cincinnati could target, including Jackson Powers-Johnson. Powers-Johnson is considered the top interior offensive lineman in the 2024 NFL Draft. He's capable of playing guard or center.
Salkin also worked with wide receiver Troy Franklin and running back Bucky Irving.
Franklin is projected to be a top 50 pick, meanwhile Irving could go off the board in rounds 3-4.
Salkin is an interesting addition to the staff for a bunch of reasons, including his work with Bo Nix, but he'll also be able to give Cincinnati first-hand knowledge of three potential targets ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
