DeAndre Hopkins Trade Would Put Bills 'Over the Top,' Says Von Miller: 'Just Imagine!'

It's certainly hard to call all the DeAndre Hopkins trade talk to the Buffalo Bills a rumor by now based on how openly Von Miller has talked about it.

It just won't stop. But maybe that's a positive sign for the Buffalo Bills.

The rumors surrounding a potential DeAndre Hopkins trade to Buffalo are as hot as ever, and we have Bills linebacker Von Miller to thank. An offseason workout buddy of the current Arizona Cardinals star receiver, Miller has been solely responsible for the increased speculation over the past two days.

This continued on Thursday, as Miller revisited the topic during his newest episode of the Von Cast. Miller discussed the fact that Buffalo missed out on signing receiver Odell Beckham Jr., but could make up for it by getting Hopkins via a potential trade.

"But we got another guy out there that we could possibly get, DeAndre Hopkins man," Miller said. "If you could just imagine here with me, DeAndre Hopkins Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Dawson Knox, (James) Cook, Damien Harris, Josh Allen. … That is a crazy lineup."

It's certainly hard to call all this a rumor by now based on how openly Miller has talked about it. Miller admitted to the media on Tuesday that Hopkins has said he wants to be a Bill before hinting at Buffalo's interest in Hopkins on Wednesday during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

Now, he's saying that adding "Nuk" to the fold would be the missing piece for Buffalo's championship hopes. Could Miller make his desires any more clear?

"We got a lot of talent over there man, but I think I think DeAndre Hopkins would put it over the top. … So I think that would be huge for us to get a guy like Nuk, to get a guy like DeAndre Hopkins man. We just have to wait and see because things happen."

Miller might as well be whispering in general manager Brandon Beane's ear at this point to get the deal done. But as he said himself, it's going to take some patience before the potential of an actual trade going through starts to build up.

For now, it appears to be just offseason player talk.
