3-Round Bills Mock Draft Lands Feisty CB, High-Ceiling WR

The 2026 offseason has been a busy one for the Buffalo Bills. After failing to make the Super Bowl, they moved on from head coach Sean McDermott and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady.
While turning to Brady gives them some continuity, he still had to hire a whole new defensive staff, led by new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard. Once that was done, the Bills turned their attention to the roster.
Buffalo landed wide receiver DJ Moore in a trade with the Chicago Bears and signed outside linebacker Bradley Chubb to anchor their pass rush. They even shored up the secondary by signing Dee Alford, C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and Geno Stone. Now, they turn their attention to the 2026 NFL draft to round out the roster.
With three weeks until the draft takes place, the ESPN quartet of Mel Kiper Jr., Field Yates, Jordan Reid, and Matt Miller worked together for a new three-round mock draft. For Buffalo, they had them fill two of their more pressing needs, starting with a versatile cornerback who can help fill multiple roles.
Round 1, Pick 26: Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

After eight seasons with the Bills, Taron Johnson was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, leaving a hole at the slot corner position. They signed Dee Alford, but they still need more depth, and adding someone else with the ability to play in the slot would be wise.
That's why Matt Miller picks Clemson's Avieon Terrell at No. 26 for the Bills. He states that Terrell can play inside or out.
"Predraft hamstring issues aside, Terrell has high-end ability as an inside or outside cornerback and plays with the toughness and feistiness the Bills love at the position," Miller wrote.
Christian Benford has become a true CB1 and the Bills see a lot of potential in Maxwell Hairston. Adding Terrell could give them an excellent trio.
Round 3, Pick 91: Ja'Kobi Lane, WR, USC

So far, Moore is the only wide receiver the Bills have added, which can't be the case when they enter training camp. That's why Jordan Reid predicts they will snatch up USC's Ja'Kobi Lane at No. 91.
"Quarterback Josh Allen needs more playmakers, and Lane is a long-striding ball winner on the outside who has loads of potential as an explosive, down-the-field target," Reid wrote.
Lane has a high ceiling and could benefit from working alongside veterans such as Moore and Khalil Shakir.
