Injuries are already impacting the AFC North as three teams in the division lose a starter for significant time.

It has been a huge day of injury news across the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns announced that Jack Conklin tore an ACL and MCL and was lost for the season. The Ravens lost J.K. Dobbins for the year with a torn achilles. Add the Steelers to the list of teams with a significant injury after they revealed that star defensive lineman Cam Heyward will miss multiple weeks with a groin injury.

Heyward suffered the injury in the team's loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. According to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, all options are being explored including surgery and a stint on injured reserve.

This would have significant implications for the Browns Monday Night Football matchup against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are coming off a disappointing week-one performance in the 30-7 loss to the 49ers.

Behind Heyward on the depth chart it could be Isaiahh Loudermilk and DeMarvin Leal (who has also been banged up) to fill his shoes in his absence. For a team that always finds a way to compete for the division, the performance of star pass-rushers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith will have a greater importance to their overall success on the defensive side of the ball.

It will be a huge challenge for Browns offensive tackles Jed Wills and Dawand Jones to negate their impact on the game.
