Watch: Myles Garrett Teaches Pass-Rushing Techniques In Another Country

In this story:
It's not every day you get to learn the game of football from one of the best players in the world.
Members of Japan's X League were lucky enough to experience just that during an international visit from Browns defense end Myles Garrett. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year was captured on video this week providing some hands on instruction to players from Japan's top level gridiron football league.

It's not the first time Garrett has been captured on camera during his visit to Japan this offseason. Just last week, Garrett had an ironic run in with the local high school baseball team from St. Ignatius and snapped a photo with the group.

Garrett's work with the X League is a testament to the global growth of football that the NFL is constantly pushing. That initiative is seen in the expansion of the league's international slate, which includes games being added in German in recent years and a first-of-its-kind Week 1 matchup in São Paulo, Brazil next season.
The NFL uses the Global Marketing Program to help market the game in other countries. Earlier this offseason the league rewarded the Browns with exclusive marketing rights in Nigeria as part of the program, as they'll be tasked with expanding the NFL's footprint in the African nation through fan engagement and commercialization opportunities.
While Garrett helps the game spread internationally, the Browns are set to open up their offseason program on Monday. Whether or not Garrett is in attendance on Day 1 remains to be seen, but the workouts are only voluntary at this point of the spring.
