Buccaneers Could Play NFL Game in Orlando in 2027

In this story:
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a sizeable fanbase in Orlando, and now, they'll get to play a regular season NFL game there in 2027 — but it will technically be on the road.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to renovate their stadium, Everbank Stadium, to transform it into what they call the "Stadium of the Future" for 2028 and beyond. Those renovations will take some time, though, so they are set to play in a limited-capacity EverBank in 2026. They'll need a new home in 2027, and all 32 NFL Owners unanimously voted that the Jaguars can play in Orlando in 2027 at Camping World Stadium.
It's unanimous!

As it turns out, the Buccaneers are set to play the Jaguars on the road that year, so Tampa Bay will make the short hop over to Orlando to face off against Jacksonville. But there's one hang-up that could actually see the Bucs travel much farther away to play the Jags.
Buccaneers set to play Jaguars in Orlando... for now

As it stands, the Bucs have an away game against the Jaguars in 2027, and outside of any special circumstance, they will play that game in Orlando. Orlando Bucs fans will be able to see the team up close and personal at Camping World Stadium during an actual NFL game, as opposed to how they normally would at the Pro Bowl Games or in years past when the Bucs would hold training camp at Disney's Wide World of Sports.
There is, however, one special circumstance that could prevent this. The Jaguars always play games in London and have recently played as many as two games a season there. If the NFL wills it, this game could instead be an international game played in London, which would, in turn, be disappointing for Bucs fans in the Orlando area. Whether or not the Bucs have an international game this year — the Lions or the Falcons could host them overseas — could determine that, but teams frequently play international games in back-to-back years regardless.
Time will tell whether or not the Buccaneers will head to Orlando in two years, but for now, Tampa Bay is focused on its 2026 campaign after a disastrous skid to end the year last year.
