Cardinals are Underdogs in Every Single Game Next Season

The Arizona Cardinals are betting underdogs in every single one of their 17 regular season matchups.

The Arizona Cardinals aren't exactly expected to hold the Lombardi Trophy at season's end - especially not with how 2022 ended and the ensuing rebuild that's taken place.

Many believe the Cardinals will again finish with a top-five pick in 2024. While they set themselves up greatly for the future with draft ammo, Arizona will still need to play through their 2023 slate of games.

Sportsbooks don't exactly believe they'll win a few - if any.

Kyle Odegard pointed out on Twitter that the Cardinals were underdogs in all 17 of their games at the moment.

Of course those lines are subject to change - and they definitely will on a week-to-week basis.

Connor Allen says the Cardinals (along with being favored in zero games) have just three games within a three-point spread, both of which are the lowest in the NFL.

Those three matchups are between Weeks 10-12, where they'll face the Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams.

The Cardinals have eight games next year where the opposing team is favored by +6.5 points or more.

Arizona has a strength of schedule (combined opponents winning percentage from the previous season) of .519, sitting just outside of the top ten in that regard. That puts them sixth in the NFC and second in their division behind the Los Angeles Rams (.533).

The Cardinals also will travel 25,126 miles in 2023, which ranks seventh in the NFL. NFC West rivals in the Seattle Seahawks (1), San Francisco 49ers (2) and Los Angeles Rams (4) rank in the top five for total mileage traveled.
