The tour of former Arizona Cardinals WR DeAndre Hopkins continues as the All-Pro pass catcher seeks a new team ahead of the 2023 season.

Thus far, Hopkins has only visited with two teams: The Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots, both of which came over the last week.

Hopkins - thanks to his previous time with the Houston Texans - has various ties and connections to both clubs. Yet the Patriots have consistently been a notable team in the running for Hopkins.

There was some speculation that Hopkins might not leave New England without a deal, though there are some new developments that suggest the Patriots may have concerns about the 31-year-old receiver.

“And what I hear is, I think people in the building are still wary, to an extent, of the culture fit. How much does he want to practice? What kind of hoops are the Patriots themselves going to have to jump through to accommodate the way he likes to approach the game?" said NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran said Thursday on WEEI’s “Jones and Mego”

The visit from both sides appeared to be fairly positive, though Hopkins likely isn't in a rush to sign with a team with a month until training camp.

The football world knows exactly how Patriots head coach Bill Belichick sees Hopkins thanks to their interaction caught on HBO's Hard Knocks last year.

It still remains to be seen where exactly Hopkins will land. He's hired outside help for agents to secure one last payday, though many doubt he'll sniff close to the $19.45 million salary he was due from Arizona for 2023.
