Cardinals Stock Watch: Who Moved Up/Down After Seahawks Loss

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals added yet another tally in the loss column, this time coming at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks in 20-10 fashion in Week 7.

It felt like the same old song and dance from the Cardinals, who kept up with their opponent until the very end.

Arizona's offense was held to just 10 points or less for the second straight week. They've only scored 20 points or more in one of their last four games.

Defensively, they've now allowed 20 points or higher in four consecutive games. That number might extend when the Baltimore Ravens come to town in Week 8.

QB Josh Dobbs

19/33 for 146 yards, 0 TD/0 INT
Seven carries for 43 yards, 1 TD

Dobbs again was a valuable asset on the ground with James Conner still out due to injury, though his passing has undoubtedly regressed over the last three weeks. In Seattle, he was again caught staring down receivers and missing open opportunities elsewhere. If you pause what you're doing, you can hear the loud ticking noise on Kyler Murray's clock for return.

TE Zach Ertz

Three receptions on four targets for 19 yards

Ertz simply looks like a shell of himself, and for the second straight week, Trey McBride has taken over primary TE duties in Arizona's offense. The Cardinals' once elite tight end has dropped crucial passes and simply hasn't found a way to get open like he once did. It's a young man's game, and McBride is projecting to take over TE1 duties sooner rather than later.

CB Marco Wilson

Look, Wilson has been on the downwards trajectory seemingly the entire season after entering 2023 as Arizona's CB1. He's drawn tough matchups, but nearly every team has a legitimate WR1 that's a handful. Wilson has found himself on the opposite end of big play after big play and that was again the case against Seattle.

RB Emari Demercado

13 carries for 58 yards, 4 receptions for 17 yards

After James Conner went out last week, the Cardinals first leaned on Keaontay Ingram to steady the boat, though he failed to impress in Week 7. Against Seattle, it was Demercado who took majority of the snaps and ran the ball fairly effectively for the Cardinals being down majority of the game. For now, he likely has earned another opportunity to start.

CB Garrett Williams

two tackles, one interception

Williams made his NFL debut and already looks like one of the better corners in Arizona's DB room, walking away with an impressive interception and putting his name in the hat to become a starter despite his inexperience.

S Budda Baker

six tackles (all solo), one TFL

Baker made a push to return earlier than most anticipated, and happened to tie the team lead with six tackles on the day. Even when he's not 100%, Baker proved just how valuable he is to this Arizona defense.
