Top CB Prospect Visits Cardinals

ARIZONA -- The Arizona Cardinals continue to do work on cornerbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

From NFL insider Ian Rapoport:

"Bama CB Terrion Arnold, potentially the top CB in the NFL Draft, has visited the Arizona Cardinals this week, and he met with the Jacksonville Jaguars yesterday. Arnold is meeting with nearly 10 teams," he wrote on Twitter/X.

The Cardinals have done extensive work on potential new corners this draft class, also meeting with the following cornerback prospects:

Auburn CB Nehemiah Pritchett
Louisville CB Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
Syracuse CB Isaiah Johnson
Kentucky CB Andru Phillips

Arizona relied on rookies Kei'Trel Clark, Garrett Williams and Starling Thomas V last season with Antonio Hamilton featuring as a starter before Marco Wilson was released. The Cardinals signed Sean Murphy-Bunting in free agency this offseason but are obviously interested in adding more depth to the position.

Arnold is considered to be one of the top cornerback options in this draft and could very well be the first defensive back off the board once April 25 rolls around. The Cardinals have two first-round picks at 4 and 27, respectively.
