Cardinals Make Roster Moves Ahead of Week 4 Meeting vs. 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals have made the following roster moves ahead of their Week 4 meeting with the San Francisco 49ers:
- Elevated defensive lineman Eric Banks and running back Corey Clement (CLEM-int) to the active roster from the practice squad as standard elevations
Banks will wear jersey #96 and Clement will wear #23, according to the release.
Banks' elevation comes as no surprise with L.J. Collier on injured reserve and Jonathan Ledbetter already ruled out ahead of Sunday. As a rotational piece, Banks has played just 15 snaps thus far.
Clement could fill the role of Keaontay Ingram tomorrow, as Ingram is questionable with a neck injury. After practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, he did not participate on Friday. James Conner was dealing with a back injury but is good to go and off the injury report.
Arizona also has Emari Demercado available in the backfield.
The Cardinals will need all the help they can get against one of the toughest run-stopping units in the league, as the 49ers allow a mere 53 yards per game on the ground.
Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon believes Conner is up for the challenge, though the team also wants to be smart with him.
"I told you guys the run game's going to go through him and with knowing that it's a 17-game season we've got be smart with that and things like that," Gannon said. "We want to see those other guys play as well, but I like how it's being deployed right now."
After upsetting the Dallas Cowboys last week, can Arizona again pull off a shocking victory? The Cardinals are 14-point underdogs to San Francisco.
