Ja'Marr Chase Wins AFC Offensive Player of the Week After Historic Day vs Cardinals

In this story:
ARIZONA -- The dust is still settling on what was a historic day for Cincinnati Bengals WR Ja'Marr Chase after a 34-20 win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5 - and his efforts have again been recognized after Chase won the AFC"s Offensive Player of the Week award.
Chase caught 15 receptions for 192 yards and three touchdowns on the day. Chase became the fourth player ever under the age of 24 with 15 catches in a single game, which also broke Cincinnati's franchise record. He is now only the fifth player in NFL history to record 15 receptions and 3 TDs in a single game, too.
Other winners:
AFC DPOTW: Maxx Crosby
AFC STPOTW: Greg Zuerlein
NFC OPOTW: DJ Moore
NFC DPOTW: Fred Warner
NFC STPOTW: Blake Grupe
Needless to say, the Cardinals weren't quite happy with themselves following the monster performance.
"It seemed like he caught a lot of balls today for a lot of yards and a lot of touchdowns. So, obviously, as a defensive staff, myself being the leader of that, we didn't do enough on that side," Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said following the game.
"You can't let their best player beat you and that's what we just did. So that falls solely on me and we can't let that happen again. Point blank, there's the game of defense. You let their best player beat you. I'm pissed off about it. It's my fault. We got to get that cleaned up."
This is Chase's third career Player of the Week award.
The Cardinals don't get much of a break in the secondary this week when they travel to play the Los Angeles Rams, who now have Cooper Kupp back alongside the hot hands of Puka Nacua.
