Rams Could be Without Sean McVay vs Cardinals

In this story:
ARIZONA -- When the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams meet in Week 6, a notable face could be absent from the sidelines for the home team at SoFi Stadium.
Rams head coach Sean McVay and his wife Veronika are expecting a baby boy quite soon, and McVay confirmed he wouldn't be coaching if she goes into labor prior to the game.
"Really feel fortunate that it's been a smooth pregnancy. My wife has been incredible and, so, it hasn't quite hit me yet. He's active right now. It seems like he's ready to come at any moment," McVay told reporters.
Rams DC Raheem Morris would take over those duties if the time comes.
"What a blessing that will be, and what an amazing job my wife Veronika has done in terms of just handling the pregnancy. She’s a stud, and so this gives me a total gratitude and appreciation and newfound respect just kind of watching it unfold in real time."
The Rams (2-3) are looking to continue their impressive play against Arizona, as the Cardinals have won just two of their previous 13 matchups.
This will be the first time Jonathan Gannon's squad squares off against the Rams, and the first-year head coach offered plenty of praise for McVay:
"(Rams Head Coach) Sean (McVay) is different than anybody out there. What I think makes him special as a coach and a play caller is you see him set up his offense week to week and year to year and as the year moves on, he accentuates his guy’s skillsets. He’s not going to do something because he likes to do it. He’s going to do something because it puts his guys in position to make plays, that’s why he’s one of the best out there.”
The Rams are -6.5 point favorites on SI Sportsbook.
