In a recent episode of the NFL's annual Top 100 Players list, a familiar face was revealed to the public at number 38.

Chargers star pass rusher Khalil Mack showed up as the 38th-ranked player by his fellow peers in this season's edition of the event.

The Bolts brought in the former Bear in a trade last offseason for a 2022 second round draft pick and a sixth round draft pick this year in hopes that Mack would return to form and be healthy for LA.

That faith paid off as Mack played and started all 17 games for the Chargers in his first season in Southern California while tallying eight sacks, 12 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Mack returned to Pro Bowl form after an absence from the event in 2021 due to his injury and Charger fans could not be happier about the pairing opposite other star rusher Joey Bosa.

Both stars will hope to avenge the Chargers' most recent playoff loss, but some recognition for this past season's accomplishments will only fuel that fire.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert also appeared on the top 100 list and will hope to guide the Chargers back to the postseason, this time for a victory.

With camp underway many moments indicate that the team is ready for such a challenge. Newest Charger receiver Quentin Johnston is already catching eyes and bodies with his highlights and connection with Herbert.

In the trenches, All-Pro star tackle Rashawn Slater has already discussed the impressive battles in camp between him, Bosa and Mack that will motivate the team even further.

The preseason is right around the corner in the next few weeks which can only mean one thing. Another quest for a Lombardi trophy in SoFi Stadium starts very soon.
