Chargers News: Justin Herbert Climbs NFL Top 100 List

In this story:
Justin Herbert is a star.
Since being drafted 6th overall in 2020, the former Oregon Duck has shown out with the Chargers.
Winning Offensive Rookie of the Year his first year, earning him a Pro Bowl nod his second, to earning MVP votes his third.
Every year Herbert continues to improve and develop into a top quarterback in the NFL. He is a game changer; his teammates know it, and his former teammates as well.
Justin Herbert was put into some tough situations in 2023 but still managed to come out on top. Ending the year with four fourth-quarter comebacks and five game-winning drives, Herbert's clutch gene is as good as his hair.
The "NFL Top 100 Players" consists of a list voted on by the players to rank the top players that year. Justin Herbert is a name that has appeared on that list ever since joining the league.
#56 in 2021, #40 in 2022, and finally reaching a new high at #32 in 2023.

Last season, the strong-armed QB led his team to a 10-7 record and his first playoff game in his young career. The Chargers would lose that Wild Card game to the Jaguars in a 31-30 nail-biter of a game.
His stat line for the year ended with 4,739 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. A stellar year for a top QB is still on the rise.
With moves to improve the receiver position in the draft, Herbert looks to have a few new weapons to throw to and help lead the Chargers to another season, putting them in the playoffs.
