Chargers News: Fans React To Austin Ekeler's Cryptic Instagram Caption Amidst Trade Request

In this story:
Austin Ekeler has found himself in a tough situation with the very team that drafted him in 2017. He has clearly outplayed the four-year, $24.5 million contract that he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers back in 2020 but the front office has had to move mountains just to get back under the cap this offseason.
For that reason, both parties were not able to come to an agreement and Ekeler was granted permission by LA to speak to other teams he's interested in joining and a trade could be worked out. Ekeler has displayed improvement, consistency, and has performed well at the running back position for the Chargers in the five seasons he's suited up and if they are to deal him elsewhere, the roster will feel very different.

Ekeler himself took to his Instagram page and posted some cryptic captions that has people even more convinced that he will be dealt from the Chargers soon.

Some of Ekeler's own teammates have come forward and voiced their opinions after this news broke. However, it has been LA's fanbase that have been reacting all over social media following the trade request and some people are not too happy with the franchise for not taking care of business with their young star.

However, it appears that other fans are on board with seeing him in a different uniform next year.
He’s a bad QB merchant anyway, if his QB can ever learn to throw anything other than 5 yard check downs, ekeler is useless

I’m over him the second he said “the logo I play for.” Pretty cold and disrespectful to teammates and chargers fans. We root for a team of guys, not a friggin logo. C-ya, Mr Me Me Me.
