The Los Angeles Chargers bolstered many of their positions this past offseason through the draft and free agency. The Bolts are set on many position groups, including the wide receivers. The front office did their job in the draft to upgrade their wide receiver core with the addition of Quentin Johnston. The WR room is set; heck, it's even filled going into the 2023 season.

However, could LA grab one of the premier wide receivers in the game? A couple of days ago, Bills star WR Stefon Diggs did not report to the first day of minicamp, and many, including their head coach Sean McDermott, said he was "very concerned" about why he didn't attend. At the time, his relationship with the team seemed to be tarnished, and his future seemed uncertain in Buffalo.

Fans quickly came to speculations on a trade to the Chargers. A couple of days ago, the NFL's Instagram account posted Bolts QB Justin Herbert highlights that caught the attention of Diggs. A fan tagged Diggs and said, "you like what you see, huh?" and Diggs responded, "the kid's special."

Man, the connection between Diggs and Herbert would be special to witness. Diggs can do it all on the field, while Herbert can sling it anywhere he wants. Take in part the number of weapons he'd have at his disposal with Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Quentin Johnston (in a perfect world). That would be a dream come true, Charger fans.

However, the likelihood of that is below one, as the Bills and Diggs have "resolved" their issues, as it seemed to be an internal issue as to why he didn't attend minicamp.

All that is behind them, but for the next couple of days, we'll continue to dream of that deadly combo that will not happen.

The Chargers have something good going on their end, and we can't wait to see it play out soon.
