Chargers Injury Report: Bolts Could Be Without Starting Lineman For Battle With Patriots

In this story:
The Los Angeles Chargers just can't seem to get over the injury bug. Every week it appears as though someone new is popping up on the injury report, making it seem as though the season is cursed.
This time around, offensive tackle Terry Pipkins III has popped up on the injury report with back-to-back limited practices based on a wrist injury. To make matters much worse, the Bolts could also be without backup Zack Bailey, who is questionable with a back injury.

The promise of the season has been fading away week by week, and it appears that the once though playoff team is nowhere near living up to its promise. The Chargers began the season as a huge playoff hopeful, even being pegged as a team that could make a deep run.
The unfortunate nature of their season has been marred with injuries, with Joshua Palmer, Gerald Everett, Keenan Allen, and Justin Herbert all facing some sort of injury during the course of the first 12 weeks.
The Bolts are now 4-7 and will need a ton of help to get back into the wildcard contention. The Raiders, Bengals, Bills, Broncos, and Texans are all about them—and are in a much better position to make the playoffs.
With Pipkins being potentially sidelined, the Chargers will have to rely on Foster Sarell, and some shifting of the offensive line to make sure Herbert is protected against the Patriots.
Another loss will see the Chargers completely fall out of playoff hopes, and if that loss comes at the hands of the mess that is the Patriots—this season might be completely lost.
