The Los Angeles Chargers will have some tough decisions to make in terms of which free agents they allow to walk and which they plan to bring on when the league year starts.

It is no secret that Austin Ekeler has likely played his last snap with the Chargers, which would leave a gaping hole in the offensive output next season. Though the Bolts could focus on Joshua Kelley and Isaiah Spiller, they will want to bring in a proven vet along with some new rookies

One of those vets could be J.K. Dobbins from the Baltimore Ravens.

Dobbins suffered an Achilles injury before the season began, ending his hopes of being a dual-threat with Lamar Jackson. While it could be viewed as a risk to bring Dobbins on, he has proven that he still has plenty of fuel in his engine.

Dobbins will likely not warrant a multi-year contract, and the Chargers could offer him a more one-year "prove it" type of deal. It could be somewhere in the range of $2 million and be incentive-laden to allow more money to be made.

Dobbins is also relatively young. He is only 25 years old and despite his injury, he has proven to be a reliable three-down back.

The Chargers could get a steal with Dobbins if they choose to bring him on. However, the injury concern is a big one. Still, plenty of players bounce back from Achilles injuries and even ACL tears.

Considering the Chargers have some cap room issues to address next season, they may look to find cheaper veterans who can provide huge upside. Dobbins is that type of veteran, and could even have a breakout year with Harbaugh coaching.
