Your Los Angeles Chargers' 2023 NFL season is all but over following the loss of their QB1, one-time Pro Bowler Justin Herbert.

Herbert will miss the remainder of the season following surgery on his fractured right index finger

This will be the first time the Chargers will be without Herbert since he became the starting quarterback in his rookie season in 2020. The Charger fan base is doing their best to cope with the news and reacted to the loss of their young superstar quarterback.

Fans couldn't help but feel bad for Herbert, whether regarding his injury or the help or lack of it throughout the first four years of his career.

Other fans decided to take jabs at the front office and their favorite head coach, Brandon Staley.

The season has gone from worse to far more worse, and the only next logical step is to focus on the 2024 season. They couldn't do anything with Herbert, and there's no shot they could do anything without him, no disrespect to backup quarterback Easton Stick.

Significant changes need to be made to this organization; fans are tired of what they're seeing, and a big off-season is ahead for the Chargers. We've all seen this movie before, though. We'll see how it all transpires.
