Your Los Angeles Chargers' 2023 season was one to forget. The team finished with a paltry 5-12 record and canned head coach Brandon Staley and GM Tom Telesco midway through the year. However, the page has officially turned, and the team will now focus on how to be contenders in the 2024 season.

This offseason will say a lot about the Bolts and how their 2024 season will go, for the most part. There is a lot to look forward to; however, at the same time, there are a lot of question marks surrounding the Bolts.

For one, who will be their next head coach and general manager? We'll find out soon enough, but regardless of how it goes, Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert believes the pieces are in place to turn things around for this organization, per Eric Smith of Chargers.com.

"We know it wasn’t good enough this year ... but there are the right guys and the right mindset here. We have to fix little things but I’m really looking forward to what we’re able to do this offseason and getting back to it.”

It was a tough season for everyone involved, including their young stud at quarterback. Before his season-ending finger injury, Herbert was solid. In 13 games, the Pro Bowler threw for 3,134 yards, 20 touchdowns, seven interceptions, and a QBR of 64.3, ranking fifth in the league.

In four seasons with the team, Herbert has yet to win a playoff game and has only led his team to the playoffs one time. Nonetheless, the 25-year-old quarterback believes in the organization that drafted him and will work to get where they want to go. It is a team effort; Herbert cannot be the only one chipping away at it.

We will learn a lot about this team this off-season. It's not hyperbole to say this is the most significant off-season in Charger history. A lot is at stake for the Bolts. This team cannot mess this up; they must nail every hire and every draft pick to be the team they want to become.

It will be a very intriguing and exciting off-season for the powder blue. Herbert believes, do you, Charger fans?
