Chargers News: LA's Week 6 Opponent Opens Up About Kellen Moore's Significance in His Career

In this story:
One storyline that has taken over the Los Angeles Chargers upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys is Bolts offensive coordinator Kellen Moore facing off against his former team. Dallas let him go after last season, and the Chargers quickly snatched him up to help their offense.
Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott saw major success under the tutelage of Moore, and he spoke about what he has meant for him throughout his career in the NFL.
“He’s been huge to my career. He’s more than a coach. Obviously, he was a teammate that turned into a coach, but he’s a friend. A friend for life,” Prescott said. “Talked to him earlier in the year. I wished him luck, but obviously, we’ve had our own things and our hands full. It will be great when I see him at some point come Monday.”

Moore knows Prescott better than anyone, both his skillset and his weaknesses. This could end up playing a role in the game Monday night, with Moore providing some insight over to the Bolts defense.
The best thing the Chargers can do against Prescott is make him beat them. While he is a good quarterback, he tends to make mistakes when the game falls solely on his shoulders.
This will be something to watch for as the game goes on, and the Bolts would be wise to pressure him early and often. If he doesn't get time in the pocket to allow his wide receivers to get space against this shaky Chargers secondary, it will be very tough for the Cowboys to win the game.
Los Angeles needs this win to stay afloat in the AFC, especially with them heading to Kansas City next weekend. They can't afford to drop the game, so they hope they come out with energy in this one and can get the victory.
