Chiefs Schedule an Underrated Linebacker for a Top-30 Visit

In this story:
The 2026 NFL Draft is around three weeks away, which means the Chiefs are amping up their schedule of top-30 visits. These visits will be for the organization to get a better look at the player, run through some film study, and have interviews.
After all that, the Chiefs can have a better feeling of if that player fits their scheme, and if they want to take a shot on drafting that player.

Players like Florida defensive tackle Caleb Banks and Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate are some of the top names that have been scheduled for top-30 visits.
A new player has been scheduled, and that is Cincinnati linebacker Jack Dingle. He has been playing at a position that Kansas City doesn’t have at the top of their radar, but with him being projected to be a late-round guy, the Chiefs could be eyeing a potential steal.

He is not the only draft prospect that the team has used a visit on that is projected to be drafted late. The team has also met with Georgia State wide receiver Ted Hurst.
Dingle is a skillful linebacker, and he can make plays on the fly. He recorded three sacks last season, and that skill would be key for a Chiefs team that has not been able to generate much pressure recently.

At 6-foot-4 and 240 lbs, he is a force rolling downhill. Throughout the last three years alone, Dingle recorded 72 solo tackles, 151 total tackles, and 4 sacks. He has shown promise in a Big 12 conference that sometimes isn’t necessarily strong on the defensive side.
The Chiefs still have two key contributors at the linebacker position. Nick Bolton and Drue Tranquill have been as steady as they come for a team that needs some help on defense. After Leo Chenal left this offseason, Dingle could be a great guy to have in that third role.

Not only do the Chiefs have two outstanding linebackers, but by taking a chance at the Cincinnati LB, he could learn under the wings of the two pros.
He came into college as a three-star recruit, and he plans to leave as an NFL draftee. He has the talent, so it is not shocking that Kansas City wants to use one of their visits on him. Dingle could be a major contributor in not only being a general on the field, but he could also add to a depleted defense.

He is certainly someone to keep an eye out for on day three, and the Chiefs know that.
