New York Jets Meeting With Another Offensive Tackle Wednesday

In this story:
The New York Jets continue to go through their NFL draft prep ahead of the first round beginning April 25.
With only one pick prior to the third round, they have a huge decision on what route they want to take with their 10th overall selection.
Because there are high-end skill position players littered throughout this draft class, there are many people out there hoping the Jets will give Aaron Rodgers another weapon as he enters his second year in New York.
However, the team doesn't seem locked into only focusing on adding a wide receiver or the top tight end Brock Bowers.
They scheduled two meetings with talented Alabama prospect JC Lathum that took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, but they also decided to bring in another offensive tackle for a visit.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets are also meeting with Troy Fautanu on Wednesday.
It's been a busy schedule for the 6-foot-4, 317-pounder out of the University of Washington.
He's coming off meetings with the Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Fautanu was a full-time starter for two years at Washington, earning second-team All-Pac-12 Conference and first-team All-Pac-12 honors to go along with a third-team All-American selection his final season.
The interesting thing about this prospect is that he has experience at both guard and tackle. The Jets added two offensive tackles this offseason in Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith, meaning they could start Fautanu at guard before he eventually moves over to the tackle spot.
He's coming into the NFL as an older player, having spent five years in college, but that should help him compete for a starting job during camp.
