The Detroit Lions have seen a number of players get healthy over last week's bye week.

Offensive linemen Jonah Jackson and Frank Ragnow, along with running back David Montgomery, are trending toward playing in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As a result, the Lions' offense will get a huge boost. Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs will give the team two legitimate big-play threats in the backfield. Meanwhile, the offensive line seems to be as healthy as it's been since the season opener at Kansas City.

This allows quarterback Jared Goff some comfort, as he will be surrounded by plenty of weapons along with a sturdy offensive line against Los Angeles' dynamic duo of pass rushers: Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.

“It just gives us that continuity that we’ve been used to with those guys throughout training camp and the majority of the season," Goff said. "And, getting Jonah back after he’s been able to heal himself up. (Jackson) should be fresh and good to go, same with Frank.”

The Lions were without two players for the portion of practice open to media Thursday, as Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Levi Onwuzurike did not participate.

The veteran offensive lineman has been in and out of the lineup since suffering an injury in Week 2, while Onwuzurike has been a healthy scratch dating back to Week 7 against Baltimore.
