Micah Parsons Injury: NFL Insider Details Recovery Timeline for Packers Star

In this story:
Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons will miss the rest of the season after tearing his left ACL in a non-contact injury during last Sunday's loss to the Broncos.
But given the injury came late in the calendar year, could the ACL tear threaten his hopes of suiting up for the opener next September? NFL insider Ian Rapoport thinks that Parsons could be ready to go before the start of the regular season.
"It is a clean ACL tear. He's gonna have surgery after they strengthen around the knee in the coming days and weeks," Rapoport began. "[He] faces a nine-month recovery so I'd say he has a chance, I would say a good chance, to be ready for the start of the 2026 season."

In 14 games this season, Parsons recorded 19 solo tackles, two forced fumbles and 12.5 sacks. It is the 26-year-old's fifth consecutive season of 12 sacks or more to start his career.
