Updating Packers Depth Charts Through Free Agency

In this story:
GREEN BAY, Wis. – With the main part of free agency complete and the 2024 NFL Free Agency four weeks away, here is an updated look at the Green Bay Packers’ depth charts.
The big needs:
- Offensive tackle, with Caleb Jones, Luke Tenuta and Kadeem Telfort being the backups. None of them played in a game last season.
- Interior offensive line, with Royce Newman being the only backup.
- Safety, unless the Packer are 100 percent sold on Anthony Johnson.
- Cornerback, generally, and slot, specifically, with no obvious backup to Keisean Nixon.
- Linebacker, with Eric Wilson slated to be the third starter and Kristian Welch the net man up.
Of note, of the team’s 12 unrestricted free agents and two restricted free agents at the start of the season, only safety Rudy Ford and running back Patrick Taylor have not found a home. Those players are listed with an underline font.
