The New England Patriots Cheerleaders are one of the most-popular cheer teams in the NFL, according to a new study that analyzed the amount of Instagram posts, TikTok posts and the number of Instagram followers. The Patriots Cheerleaders ranked as eighth most popular in the league as one of the most well-rounded teams on social media.

The Cincinnati Ben-Gals took the top spot, according to Betway, because of their impressive TikTok presence (68,700 hashtag posts.)

The second-ranked Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders have by far the most Instagram followers (663,000) of all NFL dance teams That’s nearly 449,000 more than the team with the second-highest number of followers, the Chiefs Cheerleaders (214,000).

While this study weighed TikTok over Instagram to determine final ranking, the argument can be made that DCC is top dog when it comes to NFL cheer teams.

The success of DCC is undeniable. "America's Sweethearts" are an international brand, so much so that the star-spangled uniform hangs in the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Most recently, the Cowboys Cheerleaders teamed up with the USO to bring joy to service members, visiting four military bases across South Korea.

The 2024 Patriots Cheer team is currently in book camp while the Patriots players have arrived for the first phase of the Pats’ offseason program on Monday at Gillette Stadium for the voluntary workout portion of the team’s agenda. Tight end Hunter Henry acknowledged that there the vibe has changed under first-year head coach Jerod Mayo in the post-Bill Belichick era.

"Things are different for sure.” Henry said with a grin. “They are in the building, already.”

More changes loom for New England, who has the No. 3-overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Rounding out the top five most-popular NFL cheer teams in the study are: No. 3 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, No. 4 New Orleans Saintsations and No. 5 Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders.
