First-Round NFL Draft Day Live Thread

LAS VEGAS, Nev.-- It is finally here and the 2022 NFL Draft talk is over. In Las Vegas, Nev., tonight the day that most of the NFL and its fans consider Christmas finally commenced.
Roger Goodell stepped to the microphone and opened the NFL Draft, and with that most highly anticipated three days of the NFL season will begin.
The Las Vegas Raiders don't hold a pick in the first-round this year, but will surely be paying attention to see how the draft shakes out and what moves their rivals make to improve.
There are several ways to watch this year’s NFL Draft. You can find all of the detail on how to watch or listen to the 2022 NFL Draft here:
What Time Does the 2022 NFL Draft Begin?
Thursday: 5 p.m. PT. Round One
Friday: 4 p.m. PT. Rounds Two and Three
Saturday: 9 a.m. PT. Fourth-Seventh Rounds
How Can I watch the 2022 NFL Draft on Television?
ESPN, NFL Network, ABC, and ESPN Deportes.
How Can I listen to the 2022 NFL Draft on the Radio?
SiriusXM, alongside Westwood One Sports and ESPN Radio, will also be airing this year’s NFL Draft.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Travon Walker, LB, Georgia
The #Jaguars take #Georgia edge Travon Walker at No. 1 overall. A consensus in the building and an easy call for them.

5. New York Giants: Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Oregon
The #Giants and new GM Joe Schoen have their first pick at No. 5. The selection is #Oregon pass-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, a surprise with everyone thinking OT for them.

6. Carolina Panthers: Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State
The #Panthers have their pick of all the OTs and all the QBs. No trade. So at No. 6, they go with NC State OT Ikem Ekwonu, their top tackle on their board. They considered QB, but go with them top player.

7. New York Giants: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
The #Giants are up again at 7, which some thought was a trade spot. Instead, they select #Bama OT Evan Neal — who they considered at No. 5.

8. Atlanta Falcons: Drake London, WR, USC
The #Falcons are up, with everyone thinking they select a top WR. At No. 8, #USC WR Drake London, who many teams had as the top WR on the board.

10. New York Jets: Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
At No. 10, the #Jets select their their speed WR, grabbing OSU’s Garrett Wilson. This was the pick they offered to the #49ers (in a package) for Deebo Samuel. They use it for a WR instead.
