The Saints will kick off Day 3 of the NFL Draft. They made a trade before things got started with the Chicago Bears, obtaining Pick No. 103.

TRADE TERMS

Saints Get: 103rd Overall
Bears Get: 115th Overall and 165th Overall

The 5th Round pick the Saints are sending is the one they acquired from the Eagles, so they still have No. 146 to make in that round. Dennis Allen said last night that the team was trying to make some trades happen, but it just didn't work out.

It will be interesting to see who the Saints target first, as a pass-catcher would be a nice way to start off. However, they could look at the interior offensive line and safety position. We'll know who they pick soon enough.
