Seattle is still riding high after an emotional come-from-behind win against NFC powerhouse Philadelphia on Monday night. It would be easy for the Seahawks and coach Pete Carroll to overlook Sunday's Christmas Eve matchup against the Titans, especially with a short week to prepare and an early kickoff time.

But Tennessee linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair doesn't think any of that will be an advantage for the Titans.

“He’s going to have them guys ready to go regardless of whether the game was on a Saturday at 3 in the afternoon,” Al-Shaair said. "I just know they’re going to be ready to play. So we got to do the same.”

After the win Monday night, the Seahawks are among five teams with identical 7-7 records and sit at No. 8 just outside the final playoff spot. After ending their four-game losing streak last week, the schedule gets easier, improving their chances of moving up into the postseason picture.

“We’ve been sharpened against the best the NFL can offer,” Carroll said. "Hopefully, we can use that down the stretch here and we can play really good ball in this game and take it to the next one. The setup, as hard as it was, couldn’t have been better for us, and we’ll see what happens.”

Tennessee has lost its last two games in overtime, including last week 19-16 to Houston which ended the Titans' playoff dreams for 2023.

“You don’t want to put bad film out there," said Titans defensive lineman Denico Autry, who has a career-high 11 sacks with his contract up after this season.

Seattle hopes to have Geno Smith back under center after missing two games with a groin injury. Titans signal caller Will Levis hopes to play after aggravating a left ankle injury that's hobbled him since mid-November.
