Steelers Get Big Name MLB Visitors

In this story:
PITTSBURGH -- PITTSBURGH -- The Los Angeles Dodgers made a trip to the Steel City to face off with the Pirates but their manager took some time out of his visit and stepped over to the city's football side to meet with Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
Dodgers skipper Dave Roberts and his coaching staff visited the South Side to meet with Tomlin and the Steelers in the middle of the second week of Organized Team Activities.
Such a pleasure to have @Dodgers Manager Dave Roberts and some of their staff in the building today for a visit and to share ideas. pic.twitter.com/vFaj8qR1z8

Roberts and the Dodgers have already dropped this week's series against the Pirates but are still among the best teams in the MLB with a stacked roster that includes superstars like Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, Tyler Glasnow, Clayton Kershaw and more. They lead their own division by seven games and own the fourth-best record in all of baseball.
The Steelers are chasing some similar success. With a retooled and younger roster, Pittsburgh is trying to break through for its first playoff win since 2017. Roberts led a similar breakthrough for the Dodgers in 2020, when they won the franchise's first World Series since 1988. Perhaps he had some key words of wisdom that Tomlin and the Steelers will benefit from.
