NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Titans general manager Ran Carthon, head coach Mike Vrabel, and the rest of their scouting staff have been making the rounds of pro days in the last two weeks.

Those visited include Ohio State, Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, and others. So it's no surprise to hear that team officials have spent time talking with players from these schools before or after their workouts.

A new name emerged on Saturday as one the Titans might be particularly interested in as a later-round possibility in the coming NFL Draft.

Two former Tennessee Volunteer offensive linemen, Daniel Wright, and  Jerome Cavin, appeared to receive more attention from Vrabel than others, according to a report by Adam Sparks of the Knoxville News Sentinel.

“He was already coaching us,” Carvin said of Vrabel's personal attention, where he also gave the pair tips on technique. Carvin also stated the Titans were among the teams who showed the most interest in him, along with the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.

While Wright is currently projected as an early day-two pick, his stock is reportedly on the rise, and he could move into the day-one conversation.

As for Cavin, he is currently projected as a mid, to late-round pick, but with the versatility to play both guard and center, he too could hear his name called earlier than currently expected.

The Titans are in the market to upgrade and add depth to an offensive line that was among the worst in the league in 2022, so it stands to reason that Vrabel would be interested in these and other offensive linemen in this draft class.

The NFL Draft begins on April 27 and runs through April 29 in Kansas City.
