Titans Release Final Injury Report Ahead of Houston Texans Rematch with Will Levis Set to Return

The Tennessee Titans released their final injury report of Week 17 on Friday and after a week of full participation in practice it looks like Will Levis is set to return from an ankle injury.

The Tennessee Titans didn't have Will Levis in their Week 16 loss after he suffered an ankle injury against the Houston Texans in Week 15, but with a rematch against the Texans set for Sunday, Levis's return is imminent.

According to head coach Mike Vrabel, Levis is set to return as the starter after being a full participant in all three of the week's sessions. Levis has looked smooth and able throughout the week with no noticeable limitations.

Levis' return wasn't the only positive news from the Friday injury update. Zero Titans were ruled out by Vrabel on Friday as every player available on the roster was at the final practice session of Week 17.

Some players were designated as questionable going into Sunday's game including cornerback Tre Avery, defensive lineman Marlon Davidson and tight end Josh Whyle. The one player ruled out is Caleb Farley, but Farley isn't eligible to play as he is on the physically unable to perform list, as he has been all year. Vrabel has already confirmed Farley will not play this season.

The Titans will still be missing plenty of starters who are already on injured reserve, but they will have nearly a full complement of players who are still active and that is rare this late in the season. The Titans aren't the only team that is healthier though.

The Texans sent a J.V. team to play the Titans in Week 15 with backups in all over the roster including at quarterback, wide receiver and edge rusher. Houston will be much healthier in this matchup.

C.J. Stroud will be back as the starting quarterback, but he will be joined by wide receiver Nico Collins, offensive tackle George Fant and linebacker Blake Cashman while it also seems like that rookie edge rusher Will Anderson could return as well.

Where Houston could struggle with health is on the interior of their defensive line. Maliek Collins and Sheldon Rankings both took turn destroying the Titans' offensive line in the previous matchup and with both players listed as questionable, it may not be nearly the same difficulty for the Titans' blockers.
