Tennessee Titans See Multiple Injuries at Rainy Friday Practice

In this story:
NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans faced rainy conditions at Friday's practice and with the gloomy weather came some gloomy news as well. Two Titans players left practice early while three players were never on the field.
Defensive lineman Naquon Jones missed practice along with center Corey Levin and safety Amani Hooker. At this time, we don't know if any of them are injury related, but Levin has missed multiple practices in a row and the Titans brought in some depth at his position in James Murray earlier this week, so it is fair to expect it to be an injury.
Hooker is a scary one, but there is reason to think it may not be a major deal. Hooker was a full participant in practice on Thursday and even spoke with the media afterwards. Something a player needing to treat a practice injury might not do.
Those were just the players that didn't come out for practice at all. We also saw two Titans leave early due to practice injuries. First, tight end Alize Mack. Mack had an excellent day on Thursday making multiple catches. It is unfortunate the injury did not allow him to keep that momentum going.
The other player to leave early was offensive tackle John Ojukwu. This is particularly concerning because of the the Titans' lack of depth at the position. With the Jamarco Jones cut, the Titans are even thinner at tackle now and Ojukwu is a possibility to be in line to start.
Both players suffered lower body injuries according to reports.
Hopefully, all of these injuries are minor or nonexistent and we see all of these players back out on the field soon. The reality is, football has a 100% injury rate though, so it was only a matter of time before we saw some guys go down.
The Titans have seen quite enough injuries over the last two seasons, so they could use some good injury luck soon.
