Is Patrick Mahomes the MVP of Sports?

After Mahomes' new deal, is there an argument to be made that he is the most valuable player in sports

And while it may not technically be the richest deal in sports history as reported based solely on guarantees, there is certainly an argument that Mahomes is in fact the most valuable player in sports. Sports Illustrated host Robin Lundberg asked SI's Ben Pickman and "The Fantasy Exec" Corey Parson whether Mahomes can claim that very title.
