New York Rangers trade for Florida forward Joey Crabb
The New York Rangers have traded two players for Florida Panthers forward Joey Crabb, Yahoo! Sports reported Monday morning.
The Rangers will send defenseman Steven Kampfer and forward Andrew Yogan to Florida as part of the trade.
Crabb, a 31-year-old with five years in the league, has 53 points and 20 goals in 179 career games.

The deal will also allow the Rangers to keep 19-year-old forward Anthony Duclair on the roster heading into the regular season. Duclair scored a goal in both of the Rangers' preseason games against Philadelphia last week and has five points and three goals in five of the team's six preseason games.

The Rangers open their season on Oct. 9, playing the St. Louis Blues on the road.
