The Blue Jackets keep the trade show rolling in Columbus.

The Devils have traded goaltender Keith Kinkaid to the Blue Jackets in exchange for a 2022 fifth-round pick, Columbus announced

"While we believe goaltending is a position of strength for our club with Sergei Bobrovsky and Joonas Korpisalo, we thought it was important to add depth to the position," general manager Jarmo Kekalainen said in the official release. "Keith Kinkaid is an experienced National Hockey League goaltender who will provide that depth as we move through the final month of the regular season and into the spring."

Columbus has been busy the last few days, picking up Matt Duchene and Ryan Dzingel from the Senators over the weekend. With the addition of Kinkaid, it appears the Blue Jackets are truly going for it in their playoff push.

Kinkaid has started in 38 games for New Jersey this season, posting a 15–18–6 record, 3.36 GAA and a .891 save percentage.

With Kinkaid gone, the Devils called up Mackenzie Blackwood from the AHL.
