Canadiens Coach Claude Julien Rushed to the Hospital Wednesday Night
Montreal Canadien's head coach Claude Julien was rushed to a local Toronto hospital on Wednesday night according to GM Marc Bergevin.
After the game, Julien who is 60 years old was experiencing chest pains and taken to the hospital. Bergevin told reporters that it is not Covid related. Julien is undergoing tests on Thursday and being kept under observation. While Julien is absent, assistant coach Kirk Muller will serve as the team's interim head coach.
The Canadiens lost their first game to Philadelphia 2-1 on Wednesday night.
