Stats and Trends for Super Bowl LVIII Player Props: Wide Receivers
Super Bowl LVIII is almost here, as the San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV. While we still have our fantasy postseason leagues at stake, there’s going to be a ton of wagering on the big game including player props. With that in mind, I did some research on the stats and trends that you need to know about some of the biggest names and the most popular props that will be played. That includes the wideouts, Rashee Rice, Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel. Here’s some info you’ll need to know before placing your own bets!

Rashee Rice Props
Receptions: 6.5
Rice has posted at least seven catches in six of his 19 games (32%), and he’s hit that mark in just two of his last five games. In that time, he averaged 6.2 catches.
The 49ers have allowed seven or more receptions to opposing wide receivers 10 times. In the 20 instances in which a wideout had at least seven targets in a single game against them, that player hit the seven-catch mark just 50% of the time.
Receiving yards: 66.5
Rice has recorded 67 or more receiving yards just six times in his 19 games (32%). He has hit that mark just twice in his last five games, though he averaged 81.4 yards in that time. He did have 257 combined yards in only two games, though.
The 49ers have allowed opposing wide receivers to beat them for 67 or more yards 15 times. Since Week 15, just three have hit that mark. The most a receiver has had in that time is 87 yards, which was Amon-Ra St. Brown in the NFC Title Game.
Anytime touchdown: +100
Rice scored a touchdown in eight of his 19 games (42%) on the season, but he has scored just once in his last five contests and just three times in his last eight.
The 49ers allowed 18 touchdown catches to wideouts, and at least one player at the position has scored a touchdown against them in their last five games.
Brandon Aiyuk Props
Receptions: 4.5
Aiyuk has posted at least five catches in nine of his 18 games (50%), but he’s failed to hit that mark in each of his last three games and four of his last six overall. In one of those games, a meaningless Week 18 contest, Aiyuk played just 23 snaps.
The Chiefs have allowed five or more receptions to opposing wide receivers 16 times. In the 43 instances where a wideout had at least five targets in a single game against them, that player hit the five-catch mark just 37% of the time.
Receiving yards: 61.5
Aiyuk has recorded 62 or more receiving yards nine times in his 18 games (50%). He has hit that mark just two times in his last five games, though he averaged 81.4 yards in that time. He did have 257 combined yards in only two games, though.
The Chiefs have allowed opposing wide receivers to beat them for 67 or more a mere 10 times. Since Week 14, just two have hit that mark. The most a receiver had in that time is 115 yards, which was Zay Flowers in the AFC Title Game.

Deebo Samuel Props
Receptions: 4.5
Samuel has posted at least five catches in seven of his 17 games (41%), but he’s failed to hit that mark in four of his last six. In two of those games, however, he was limited to 20 or fewer offensive snaps due to injuries or rest. In nine games where he’s seen 50 or more snaps, Samuel had at least five receptions six times.
The Chiefs have allowed five or more receptions to opposing wide receivers 16 times. In the 43 instances where a wideout had at least five targets in a single game against them, that player hit the five-catch mark just 37% of the time.
Receiving yards: 58.5
Samuel has recorded 59 or more receiving yards just seven times in his 17 games (41%). He has hit that mark just once in his last six games, but he has gone over 58.5 receiving yards in five of the nine games where he’s played at least 50 snaps.
The Chiefs have allowed opposing receivers to beat them for 59 or more yards 15 times. Since Week 14, just two have hit that mark. The most a wideout had in that time is 115 receiving yards, which was Zay Flowers in the AFC Title Game.
