Former Clemson receiver Kyrin Priester signed a financial aid agreement with Washington State and will play for the school in 2016, the school announced.

Priester will have to sit out the 2015 season because of NCAA transfer rules and will have three seasons of eligibility left.

Originally rated a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Priester signed with Clemson last year after receiving offers from TCU, Ohio State, South Carolina, Georgia and others.

He was dismissed from the team after playing on special teams in the 2014 season opener against Georgia for what Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said was “an attitude that is not acceptable to our standards.”

Washington State said that Priester will enroll at the school in January and will be able to participate in spring drills.
