College Hoops Fans Roasted the NCAA After Seeing the Men's Final Four Court in Arizona

The 2024 Men's Final Four is being held in Arizona this weekend and will be played where a lot of Final Fours have been played over the years—inside a NFL stadium.
State Farm Stadium, home of Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, will be where NC State, Purdue, Alabama and UConn battle it out for a national title. The Wolfpack tweeted a photo of the setup inside the stadium and once again it looks like the best seats will be watching from your couch.
The sheer size of the stadium makes the court look really small. Check out this view:

Fans were not impressed:
There is no more blatant example of greed in American sports than the annual ritual of the college basketball, typically played in small, intimate, raucous gyms, concluding its season in cavernous football stadiums. Just a transparent cash grab. https://t.co/hw1Buqi0H2

The concept of basketball in a football stadium has always been stupid btw https://t.co/YLSAGGKqI2

Yeah this is nasty. Final Four should be played in a basketball stadium. https://t.co/1NehE66T6K

Abolish Basketball in football stadiums please https://t.co/YYFOOvXmEE

I feel bad for the fans. This stadium is way too big for a basketball game. Anyone buying a ticket outside of the first like 20 rows is better off just watching from their phone. https://t.co/22lxbzhOPs

Hate that they still are playing these final fours in football stadiums… https://t.co/Ry8Na7sOTO

Having the Final Four in football stadiums remains the dumbest thing ever. This is why TV is always the best route, just look at this view. https://t.co/wXl3bCr92c
