Cincinnati would have to eat millions of dollars to fire him.

CINCINNATI — The cliff dive from Cincinnati Bearcats basketball has plenty of fans wondering: What's Wes Miller's contract buyout?

UPDATE: This was written in February, Miller's current buyout is based off of the post March 31, 2025 figures and post March 31, 2026 numbers, so his buyout if fired on April 1 or later this coming year (2026) is $4.69 million.

Year four has arguably been the worst of his tenure, but it will take a whole lot of cheddar to fire him after this season. According to The Athletic, Miller's buyout if fired before April 1, 2025, is $13 million based on the contract extension he inked in 2022.

That number drops to $9.9 million in April and drops again on April 1, 2026, to $4.69 million. It's highly unlikely Cincinnati will let go of him after this season, based on those figures.
