Will Ferrell takes the field for 10 MLB teams in one day
Friday March 13th, 2015

On Thursday, Will Ferrell livened up spring training by playing ten different position with ten different teams in a stunt to raise money for for cancer research.

While #FerrellTakesTheField seemed to be well received by most, former NFL announcer and coach John Madden did not care for the event, according to CBS San Francisco.

“That’s a lack of respect. That’s a lack of respect for the game and a [lack of] respect for what players have to do to get where they are.”

While Madden felt the event cheapened spring training, the players and managers seemed to welcome Ferrell with open arms as he was traded between ten different teams.
