Vandals paint Michigan State statue blue and yellow

Michigan State has not played a home game in the 2015 season yet, but the school’s Spartan statue is already under attack from its rivals.
WLNS-6 reports that the sculpture, which stands outside the team’s Spartan Stadium, had a blue “M” and yellow accents spraypainted all over it late Thursday or early Friday.

Last season, the block M on Michigan’s campus was defaced by rival fans who painted it green and used it to spell out MSU.
No. 5 Michigan State is scheduled to take on seventh-ranked Oregon on Saturday for its first game of the season.
