LSU Makes The Swamp Feel Like Home For South Carolina
Severe flooding (worse even than the floods in France) forced South Carolina to move its home game against LSU to Baton Rouge, so the Tigers are doing their best to help the Gamecocks feel comfortable. No, they won’t be benching Leonard Fournette, but they will have the marching band learn USC’s fight song and alma mater. They’re also going to play South Carolina’s traditional entrance music: Darude’s “Sandstorm.”

Happy Anniversary, Don Larsen
Don Larsen’s World Series perfect game happened 59 years ago today. Larsen pitched the Yankees to victory in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Dodgers and the boys from the Bronx won the championship two days later in Game 7. After the final out, catcher Yogi Berra lept into Larsen’s arms.
