Good Thing the Navy Has Plenty of Helicopters
If Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds, who is tied for second in the nation with 19 rushing touchdowns in 11 games, gets invited to the Heisman Trophy ceremony on Dec. 12, he’ll have to arrive in style—in a helicopter. The annual Army-Navy game is that afternoon in Philadelphia, giving Reynolds hardly any time to get to New York for the ceremony.
“If we get him out of there by 7 o'clock and the game is over by 6:20 or 6:30, he should land in time,” Navy athletic director Chet Gladchuk told CBS Sports. “How dramatic would it be if he walks in even when the show is under way? He comes walking down with his Navy blues on. ‘Excuse me, fellas. Sorry I'm late,’ and he sits down.”
