A fair warning to Mets fans: you’re going to want to look away. 

Bartolo Colon, the paunchy fan favorite, is leaving New York and signing with the division rival Braves. It’s sad news for everyone who loved watching Bartolo pitch brilliantly while occasionally embarrassing himself at the plate. 

That’s why this GIF cut every Mets fan to the core. 

Just look at the replies. 

Don’t take it too hard, though, Mets fans. Bart will be back in Queens for the season opener on April 3.
