Tim Tebow is the butt of many jokes
The great "Tim Tebow: Baseball Player" experiment continued over the weekend when Tebow's Columbia Fireflies (Class-A affiliate of the Mets) traveled to Charleston to face the RiverDogs. They were not nice hosts. The famous clip of Tebow crying after Florida’s 2009 loss to Alabama was played on the scoreboard. The mascot wore "John 3:16" eye black. Every Columbia batter's profile on the scoreboard included a background image of Tebow crying. Of course, the three games provided Charleston with their three biggest crowds of the season and Tebow responded by throwing a bat (accidentally) into the stands.
