DeAndre Hopkins Evaluates Possible Trade Destinations Without Saying a Single Word

Amid trade speculation for DeAndre Hopkins, the veteran wide receiver had some fun when possible new teams were posed to him. While being interviewed on the All Things Covered podcast, the PatriotsBillsJets and Chiefs were named, and Hopkins was asked to react to each team without saying a word based on how much he wants to play for them.

When the bit started with New England, Hopkins didn’t seem make a facial expression at all. He appeared to look to his side, waiting for the next team. So Patriots fans shouldn’t expect the five-time All-Pro anytime soon. Next up was Buffalo.

Much less subtly, Hopkins looked directly to the camera and smirked. He appeared to be more than open to joining Josh Allen and Co. When New York was brought up, the 30-year-old again looked to his side and sucked on his teeth, making it clear that Aaron Rodgers isn’t enough to earn his intrigue. Finally, Kansas City was named, and Hopkins again looked at the camera with a smile.

Hopkins missed the beginning of the 2022 season while serving a six-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drugs policy. When he returned, he was back to his typical dominant self. The five-time Pro Bowler played in nine games, recording 64 catches for 717 yards and three touchdowns.
